Thanksgiving Eve

1. Last night, before bed, we told Noah that today was a special day. I asked him if he knew why and he said "Bouncy Houses?"
2. Claire slept in her room for the first time for 12 hrs.
3. I am feeling very thankful and sentimental for my children.

Look at this face!

I just can't believe how beautiful she is. Seriously. I forgot to add to my prior post of things I don't want to forget that she gave me a HICKEY! We were cosleeping and she just nuzzled in and latched...only on to the side of my chest...ooops. Oh and on her 4 month birthday she weighed 16 lbs 10 oz and was 27 inches long. She also successfully drank over an oz from a bottle tonight! What a feat!

Trying again!

It has been a long time since I posted here. So, I'm going to write down some of the things I don't want to forget....

Noah:

1. Noah's happy dance. Whenever he gets happy about something, he does this little skip, shimmy on his tippy toes. It can be something as simple as getting a new ball to being around someone he is happy to see (his music teacher, one of his aunts or uncles, Josie, etc). I need to have the flip camera on hand to capture it. Today we were visiting a day care to see if it would be where they go when I return to work, and he was having such fun he just skipped around the room and smiled.

2. He LOVES the library. Granted we aren't there for intensive research, but it is just so great to me that on the top things he asks for, Library may be at the top. His other favorites are the playground, zoo & going to see Rhonda at Music Together.

3. Super Why. I am not proud. But he loves that stupid show.

4. Claire Bear. No, not my daughter. His doll that he named after my daughter and sleeps with every night. I almost cried when he told me her name was Claire Bear. I couldn't have asked for a sweeter moment.

Claire:

1. She smiles with her entire face.

2. Although it is frustrating right now, her absolute refusal to take a bottle will, I'm sure, some day be looked back on with humor and love.

3. Even though I haven't been doing all the things I "should" like tummy time and giving her all these infant toys, she seems to be meeting all of her milestones at the right time. Makes me wonder why we have all this crap to begin with.

4. I just have to start to sing for her to get a big grin right across her face. I don't know if it is because she's been going to music class with me since she's been in utero, but that girl loves music.
